Monster Entertainment is to distribute the Irish-made animated series ‘Funky Fables’, which will screen at MIPCOM Junior in October.
The 26-part series was created by Dublin-based animation studio JAM Media for CBBC, which commissioned the series in 2008.
Each of the 11-minute episodes in the ‘Funky Fables’ gives a new twist to your favourite fairy tales, including The Magic Mirror, Miss Muffet and Legs the Spider.
‘Funky Fables’ was written by John Rice, Alan Shannon and Mark Cumberton for JAM Media. JAM Media’s chief executive John Rice also produced while the series was directed by Alan Shannon.
MIPCOM Junior will take place in Cannes over October 8-11.
