Northern Irish production company Out of Orbit is to hold a second round of auditions and screen tests in Dublin and Belfast this week and next for an Irish language feature film that will shoot in Northern Ireland later this summer.
The production company is looking for Irish speaking and non Irish speaking actors aged between 18 and 30 to audition over June 16 to 19.
The auditions will take place in Dublin city centre this Saturday and Sunday between 10am – 6pm before producer Brian J. Falconer travels to Belfast. There he will oversee auditions next Monday (June 18) and Tuesday, also between 10am – 6pm.
Out of Orbit previously held a casting call in Belfast last April. No details as to the Northern Ireland Screen-supported feature will be released prior to the audition, with Out of Orbit instead hoping to keep details under wraps.
Anyone interested in auditioning should contact outoforbitproductions@gmail.com with their preferred city, date and time. Each audition should take approximately 15 minutes.
Those auditioning should have a prepared audition piece in Irish or English, which should not run for more than 5 minutes. If you have any previous acting experience please attach a CV, headshot and if you have no previous acting experience, please state in your reply.
