Irish actor Liam Neeson has joined the cast of Paul Haggis’ forthcoming movie ‘Third Person’ alongside Olivia Wilde (Cowboys and Aliens).
Antrim-native Neeson will play a journalist opposite Wilde’s New York gossip columnist in the US film which will be set in New York, Paris and Rome. The movie is currently in pre-production with the shoot penciled in to begin in August.
Haggis, who wrote ‘Crash’ and Bond’s ‘Quantum of Solace’, will write and direct ‘Third Person’. He has said the story is “about three story lines, three love stories, three relationships in three different cities that combine in a very odd way.”
Neeson, who can currently be seen in ‘Battleship’ and will next appear in ‘The Dark Knight Rises’, is also reported to be in talks to star in US thriller ‘Non-Stop’.
US-born Wilde who studied at Dublin’s Gaiety School of Acting and holds Irish citizenship through her Irish-born father, has recently completed filming on Peter Glanz’s ‘The Longest Week’.
