The final submission deadline for the first ever Fingal Film Festival (FFF) is this Friday, 10th February. This is the last chance for independent filmmakers to submit their feature, documentary, short or animated films to the festival for consideration as part of the festival’s programme.
The Fingal organisers have also announced the line up of industry names that will be on hand to give masterclasses and attend Q+A sessions during the festival. They include Oscar winning producer Arthur Lappin(In the name of the Father, The Boxer), BAFTA award winning director Aisling Walsh (Room At The Top, Song for a Raggy Boy ) Emmy-nominated film composer Joseph Conlon (Voices, Behind Enemy Lines) and international documentary filmmaker Sylvia Stevens (Wartakes, Aphrodite’s Drop).
The Fingal Film Festival is open to everyone and will take place in the UCI Cinema Blanchardstown and Draíocht from the 21st-23rd March. The festival is sponsored by UCI Cinema, SNAP Blanchardstown, Lispopple Studios and Sweet Web Design and Graphics and partnered with IFTN.
