Egg Ends Post Production on 'Nurses'

Nurses
‘Nurses’, a documentary series produced by G Marsh TV, which follows the lives community nurses in island, rural, inner city, suburban areas as well as one male nurse as they go about giving care around Ireland has just finished posting at Egg Post Production. The documentary was directed by Matt Leigh (Blue Rinse) and written by Gerry Hoban (Who Do You Think You Are?, No Frontiers)

The series’ was produced by Gillian Marsh (Seahorseman, Vets On Call), who was executive producer and Mairead Tucker (Brief Encounters of the Sporting Mind, Fergal Quinn’s Retail Therapy) who produced, both of G Marsh TV. It was shot on Sony EX3 Card and was filmed from November last year until July this year. Filming took place in Bofin Island, Swanlinbar Cavan, Kilkee in Clare and Castleknock and Coolock in Dublin.

Editor for the series was Guy Montgomery (Parked, Blue Rinse). The programme was given €250,000 funding from RTÉ and is scheduled to premiere on RTÉ One on Thursday 12th January at 10.15pm.
