Sony have announced Kylie Munnich as their new senior vice president of distribution for UK, Africa and Ireland. Munnich will now be responsible for managing and growing all Sony Pictures Television Distribution activity in Ireland, UK and Africa.
Based in London, Munnich will lead all TV licensing negotiations for SPT with broadcasters and digital platforms in these territories. Munnich previously served as vices president of distribution, Australia and New Zealand for SPT and also served four years as SPT’s Executive Director, Distribution Australia and New Zealand and prior to that as Sales Director. Before joining SPT, she was Director, Asia Pacific MGM International Television Distribution, based in Sydney.
Senior executive vice president, distribution, (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Stuart Baxter said “Kylie is a highly experienced and valued team member at SPT, and much respected amongst industry peers. I’m extremely pleased to welcome her to the Europe team and this new role, created to bring a dedicated focus to these important territories.”
