Nigel Robbins joins UTV Media plc as Commercial Director (Ireland)
UTV have announced that Nigel Robbins will join the Ulster broadcaster as Commercial Director (Ireland). The role is based in Belfast and will see Nigel Robbins charged with developing UTV’s commercial interests across TV, Radio and New Media.
Nigel’s most recent position was as CEO of one of Europe’s most established game development companies Kuju Entertainment Ltd. Nigel has previously worked with MTV Networks, a division of Viacom Inc., where he served as CEO of MTV Networks Asia-Pacific, CEO of MTV Group Japan, and Managing Director of MTV Networks Australia and MTV Networks India.
Nigel Robbins commented on the appointment, saying "This is a very exciting time to be joining UTV Media, which has gone from strength to strength in recent years and is now one of the biggest media companies in the UK and Ireland.
