Screen Scene VFX (SSVFX) have released their VFX Breakdown Reel for their work on the HBO epic series Game of Thrones. The compilation of VFX Breakdown selects from Season One of the fantasy series and aims to give insight into the work that Dublin based Screen Scene contributed to the multi-Emmy nominated show.
Screen Scene VFX department completed 350 of circa 686 effects shots, including memorably sequences such as Bran’s climb, the sprawling Lannister encampment and Jamie’s eye stab.
Visual Effects Supervisor at Screen Scene Ed Bruce said “We are tremendously proud of the work and the talented team of 2D and 3D artists.” Check out the VFX Breakdown below here…
The first series of ‘Game of Thrones’ has been nominated for an impressive 13 Emmys, which were announced last month, including a nod in the category for Outstanding Special Visual Effects. The second series is currently filming in Northern Ireland.
