Cameras are rolling on Animo Television/Kite Entertainment’s ‘Celebrity Bainisteoir’ Season Four ahead of RTÉ broadcast beginning September 18th
Produced by Rónán O’Muirthile (Written Off), ‘Celebrity Bainisteoir’ brings together the world of celebrity and GAA Club Football as personalities are enlisted to manage their local intermediate football club team in a tournament officially sanctioned by the GAA. The tournament will consists of four quarter finals, two semis and a final to be broadcast on November 6th.
The 8x1 hour series will return to RTÉ on September 18th and confirmed celebrities so far include former Irish soccer star Tony Cascarino, ex-Eurovision winner Dana, comedian PJ Gallagher, RTÉ Radio’s Brenda Donoghue, Gillian Quinn (wife of Sunderland FC chairman Niall Quinn) and former TD Paul Fogarty. The series is directed by Ronan O’Donoghue (Health Squad).
‘Celebrity Bainisteoir’ four began filming this week and the final two celebrities will be announced after being revealed to their GAA teams following filming this weekend. The first match will kick off next month with PJ Gallagher’s St. Patrick’s from Donabate to take on Oughterard from Galway who are managed by Paul Gogarty. The filming will take place nationwide in the locations of the various GAA clubs. The production is produced by Animo Television and Kite Entertainment for prime time broadcast on RTÉ.
