New Hi-Tech Fiz Gig Summer Camps at Pulse
31 May 2011 :
Young people at Pulse College
Pulse College has announced it will host courses for 9-15 year-olds in video game design and animation.
These beginner courses aim to introduce young people to the technology behind video games and animation with an introduction and practical experience in using these technologies. Activities include web design, movie-making, online gaming and a host of hi-tech challenges.

“The Fiz Gig name represents an explosion of technology and we have designed these workshops so that they are practical, challenging and fun. We believe if children are introduced to advanced creative media technologies from a young age through hands on interactive activities, they will improve their skills and gain great insight into the world of creative media,” explains Naomi Moore, Director of Pulse College and organiser of Fiz Gigs.

The game design camps will be hosted on 13th-17th June and 8th-12th August and the animation summer camps will take place on 20-24th June and 15th -19th August. The courses will take place from 9.30am to 3.30pm at Pulse Studios, Windmill Lane.
