Irish media technology supplier, Eurotek has announced the release of new digital entertainment creation software and middleware from new technologies group, Autodesk. The 2012 Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suites features software such as the Maya 2012, 3ds Max 2012 and the Mudbox 2012 painting toolset.
The newly launched software from Autodesk sees the inclusion of Maya 2012 which looks to act as a toolset for pre-visualisation and games prototyping, extended simulation capabilities, and improved pipeline integration. The new slate also features the Autodesk 3ds Max 2012 software complete with an accelerated graphics core, cutting-edge rendering and simulation capabilities and extended mapping, texturing, and modelling toolsets.
Furthermore, the new Autodesk Softimage 2012 software looks to extends the capabilities of existing content creation pipelines to meet the demands of contemporary television, games, and film projects. The programme also has enhanced interoperability with Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suite Premium products. The group’s Mudbox 2012 software looks to deliver significant enhancements to the painting toolset through new UV and topology-independent workflows and practical posing tools.
Finally, the Autodesk MotionBuilder 2012 software has been introduced with the aim of increasing productivity through enhanced interoperability and more consistent user interfaces with other products in the Autodesk Entertainment Creation Suites 2012. The new software looks to deliver new tools to better facilitate virtual movie-making, performance animation, and stereoscopic productions.
Eurotek and Autodesk will come together this summer to host free seminars on using the above software.
