Digital Media solution provider, Tyrell CCT has officially launched the Tyrell CCT/Avid 2011 Student Film Competition. The college video and film competition is currently inviting submissions in several categories including Short Documentary, Animation or Short Film.
The College Video and Film Competition is open to both groups and individuals with course work and the organizers have stated that college projects are welcome. Applicants can submit projects under several headings including Short Documentary; Short Film or Drama Piece or Short Creative or Art Piece e.g. Animation, Fictional Commercial, Music or Literature Interpretation.
Entrants will receive free broadcast editing software and editing tips and advice from experts with the competition’s prize giving ceremony taking place in May. Full submission details are available following the filling out and application of a registration form on the competition page on the Tyrell site; www.tyrell.ie
The deadline for receipt of submissions is 5:00pm on Friday, April 22nd and full terms and conditions are available on registration. Video for submission must be uploaded to the Tyrell Film competition Vimeo web page. Details and instructions on how to upload your video will be sent by email after registration.
