Windmill Lane Pictures Ltd has acquired the business of Slate Recording Studios with the aim of offering an enhanced range of sound post production facilities to all their clients. Slate and sound recording and design outfit, Number 4 will continue to operate under their own identity and clients of both will benefit from an increased range of facilities, services and operators across all market sectors.
Slate was founded and is headed up by Locky Butler. Windmill Lane Chief Peter Brady commented on the new partnership, saying: “Slate and Locky Butler will bring unrivalled new talent and additional resources to Windmill’s own audio post facility complementing Paddy Gibbons and his team in Number 4.”
Slate and Number 4 are committed together to investing in the complete range of audio facilities to the various market sectors bringing added capacity, talent and flexibility that will accommodate both large scale and long term bookings and ‘short lead time’ bookings allowing tight deadlines to be met with ease.
