TV3’s ‘The Holiday Show’, the new travel series which has been airing since 30th January has been going from strength to strength with last week’s ratings hitting 189,000 and an overall audience share of 13.3 %.
Over the six episodes of ‘The Holiday Show’, presenters Ciara Whelan and Jon Slattery explore nine of the world’s most popular holiday destinations, with each episode focusing on a different type of holiday from activity holidays, to the most romantic destinations and inexpensive spa breaks.
This weeks show will centre on ‘Winter Sun’ to air on Friday at 8pm on TV3.
‘The Holiday Show’ is produced by Trilogy Media and is executive produced by Jenny Cole (BBC’s Holiday, ITV’s Wish You Were Here Revisited). Peter Foott, the series producer, said “It’s been an exciting journey for everyone working on the series. Ciara and Jon have brought a great sense of humour to ‘The Holiday Show’ which means that viewers are getting a kick out of the show even if they’re not planning a holiday.”
“The Holiday Show” is directed by Tom Richardson (Channel 5’s Farmer Wants A Wife, BBC’s Escape To The Country), Eleanor Bowman and Peter Foott, and edited by Carl Collins, with graphics and grade by John Talbot at Panic Post-Production. Mick Creedon at The Farm is looking after post-production sound.
