It has been a busy month for post production house Screen Scene with new projects Raw (Ecosse Films/ Octagon Films), ‘A Little Bit Showband’ (RTE Archive) and ‘Forbidden Love’ (Mint Productions) going to air in the past week.
There was a return to the screen for a couple of series including ‘Killinaskully’ (Gable End Media) and ‘The Road To Croker’ (Loose Horse).
Editor Paul Mullen won at the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival in the Best Editing category for his work on the feature film Satellites and Meteorites (I-Wire Films).
The Observe Outside Broadcast Team have been busy month with the All-Ireland Football and Hurling Finals at Croke Park and the broadcast of ‘The Late Late Show’ live from the newly refurbished Wexford Opera House.
The commercials department have had a hand in a number of high profile ad campaigns including Kellogg’s (Leo Burnettes/ Speers Film), ESB (Pan International/ Toytown Films), Friends First (Owens DDB/ Company Films), 02 (Pan International/ Toytown Films), FAI Vantage Club (Cawley Nea TBWA), Eircom (Chemistry/ Company Films) and Hibernian (Rothco), 3Ireland(Young Euro RSCg/ Toytown Films)
The new Screen Scene website www.screenscene.ie which was launched back in August is going from strength to strength, with daily news updates and weekly GRAMS; video pieces which give an insight into some of the projects posting within the company.
