FÁS STI in association with Louth Newry Mourne Film Commission are set to host a mini-EAVE seminar for Irish producers.
The Seminar takes at 5pm on Wednesday 18th of June at Darver Castle, Co. Louth. Tutors for the seminar, organised as part of the second module of the EAVE 2008 workshop, are producer David Collins (Eden, Once), producer Patrick Sobelman from France’s Agat Films (Haut les cœurs!, Venus Beauté), Danny Krausz from Germany’s DOR Film GmbH (Ragin, Bye Bye Blackbird) and Alan Fountain, CEO of EAVE.
Session One at the seminar, chaired by Alan Fountain, will focus on European co-production opportunities with Sobelman, Collins and Krausz. Session Two will be a production and marketing case study on ‘Once’, with the film’s producer David Collins speaking
This will be followed by a co-production reception hosted by MEDIA Desk and MEDIA Antenna na Gaillimhe and a networking dinner hosted by Screen Producers Ireland with FÁS STI.

The second module of the EAVE 2008 workshop takes place in the D Hotel, Drogheda from 15th to the 23rd of June.
EAVE will bring some 51 producers and 16 writers from 27 European countries as well as the EAVE pedagogical team to learn first hand more about the Irish industry and to meet and network with Irish producers as well as exchanging knowledge about activities in other European countries.
