Students from Trinity College, Ballyfermot College of Further Education, Griffith College Dublin and NUI Galway have all scooped awards in film and TV categories at this year’s 3 Student Media Awards, which took place on Tuesday 15th April in Tripod.
Conor O’Kelly from TCD scooped the Film Script of the Year award for his script ‘Fishy Tale’, while Liam Berrington from Ballyfermot College of Further Education won the Short Film of the Year gong for his short ‘Prediction.’ Aonghus O’hEochaidh from NUI Galway won the TV Production of the Year award and Griffith College’s Tom Byrne was named TV Journalist of the Year.
The annual Student Media Awards celebrate the best in student media talent, awarding prizes for print, radio, TV, web and film categories.
