Ireland’s dedicated voice over training facility Velvet Voice has announced dates for its next Voiceover Workshop, taking place from 26 – 27 April. The course covers radio, television and commercial voiceover training, tutored by a professional voiceover artist and sound engineers.
Velvet Voice is managed by Tommy Ellis. Ellis has over 15 years experience in recording studios having worked on television projects including; ‘The Clinic’, ‘Bachelors Walk’ and ‘Showbands’; and feature films ‘The Lord of the Rings’, ‘Adam and Paul’ and ‘Borstal Boy’.
The hands-on one day course sees participants reading radio scripts, television scripts and narration scripts in the sound booth, in addition to a tutorial with a Cawley Nea advertising executive.
