‘Kings’ Continues Successful US Tour

Kings
After winning five IFTAs last month, Tom Collins’ feature ‘Kings’ continues to gather momentum across the pond in the US. Last weekend saw the feature open the New York Craic Film Festival and scoop the Up State New York, Westchester Film Festival, Best International Feature Award.

Speaking at the festival, writer/director Collins said “When I was fund raising for Kings I got advice that I should not make the film in Irish…it would not be seen. I think the recent IFTA Irish Award, the response Kings is having in the USA cinemas and now this award vindicates my belief that films like ‘Kings’ can and do travel…”
