To celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day weekend, Filmbase are set to hold a free screening of the hit Irish pic ‘Intermission’ and will show a paid screening of ‘Harry Potter’ as Gaeilge at their Temple Bar venue in Dublin.
To celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day weekend, Filmbase are set to hold a free screening of the hit Irish pic ‘Intermission’ and will show a paid screening of ‘Harry Potter’ as Gaeilge at their Temple Bar venue in Dublin.
The free ‘Intermission’ screening takes place on Friday 16 March at 6pm. The film will be followed by a panel discussion with special guest filmmakers. Released in 2003, ‘Intermission’ won numerous awards that year at the IFTAs (including Best Film, Best Director, Best Script and Best Supporting Actor) in addition to the Audience award at the Galway Film Fleadh.
‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban as Gaielge’ takes place on Sunday 18th of March. Tickets are priced €7 adults / €5 children.
