The 2006 Stranger than Fiction Documentary Film Festival, taking place at the IFI from the 28 September to 1 October, is calling for entries to the Short Documentary competition with a prize of €2,000 up for grabs.
The shorts submitted must be between three and 18 minutes and the finalists will be screened at the IFI on Sunday October 1st.

Alongside the shorts programme, the Stranger Than Fiction Festival will feature 20 International documentaries, 10 documentaries produced in the last year in Ireland and a market of over 25 international commissioning editors
Closing date for submissions is Tuesday August 1st
