The
newly formed production company XI Pictures, owned by Irish filmmakers Jason and
Jonathan Figgis and Uri Geller, has successfully completed shooting its first
project entitled ‘Uri Geller’s Haunted Cities: Venice’ for Sky One.

Hosted by Uri Geller, ‘Uri Geller’s Haunted Cities: Venice’ embarks on a journey of exploration around the Venetian city visiting celebrated haunted buildings, canals and historical sites….all involving paranormal activity and haunting. Through fantastically scary reconstructions, the atmosphere and horror of each story will be vividly brought to life. Uri will ultimately try to decipher the ‘Venice Syndrome’ – that the gloomy, haunted and oppressive beauty of the city drives many who visit it to their death….

| After a 15-day shoot in October and November in Italy, post-production will be completed at Piranha Bar in Dublin. Executive Producer Jonathan Figgis, also of October Eleven Pictures, is thrilled with the footage. “The shoot went incredibly well and we are really looking forward to the end result,” said Jonathan to IFTN today. |
