Stephen O'Connell's documentary about Robert Emmet will screen on Sat 4 Oct, as part of the Stranger Than Fiction festival and market.
This one hour documentary on Robert Emmet is directed by Stephen O'Connell, well-known as a film
editor, but his first time in the director's chair. The doco will also be screened on RTE as part of their new history strand on Thursday 6 November.
Two centuries after his death, 'Emmet' looks beyond the romantic myth at the
enigmatic young man who fought to destroy the system of wealth and privilege
from which he came.
