'Ulysses' finished shooting on Sunday, at Dublin Castle, after five, 6 day weeks, in and around Dublin (Dublin Castle, Shaw's birthplace in Portobello, Print Museum in Beggars' Bush, the Strand in Dollymount and Hannay Studios in Cabra). With a couple of hours pick-ups scheduled for later in the week, Sean Walsh, the writer/director/producer, and production manager Donal Ruane, are delighted with how it's gone.
The project is being co-produced by Stalheim Ltd and Hubbard's production arm What's The Story in UK, through S481 in Ireland and sale and leaseback in the UK.
The cast includes Stephen Rea (Leopold Bloom), Angeline Ball as Molly Bloom, and Hugh O'Connor as Stephen Dedalus.
