Two interesting Sunday evening events in Dublin this April - showcasing fresh Irish and international shows, excerpts and previews.
The Sunday Ghetto Short Film Club will be screening an eclectic programme of Irish & International short films, followed by a DJ, this coming Sunday, 9th April, from 7.30pm at the Sugar Club, Lower Leeson Street. Admission is €5 (& €2 membership for new members). Titles screening this week include:

The following Sunday (Easter Sunday, 14th April), sees another film event in the Sugar Club, with a series of screenings of shorts, music promos, and sneak previews. Organised by Lorcan Fox (H2 Films), the evening will include ‘Ninja Skaer’, Dave Leahy (Production Depot/Warrier Films) showing a selection of his current projects; Emmet Scanlan (Studs, 3 Crosses) will be showcasing his latest short. Jason Figgis will be screening extended fight scenes from his film ‘3 Crosses’.
Stephen O’Regan will also be there with his black comedy ‘They’re Made Out of Meat’ (recently selected for London’s SciFi Film Festival).
The doors open at 8.30pm, film showcase is from 9-10am, followed by Irish hip hop band Stayrix and DJs. Admission is €8.
