Composer Dimitri Tiomkin Celebrated by RTÉ Orchestra

High Noon Tweet The RTÉ National Concert Orchestra are to honour Oscar award-winning composer Dimitri Tiomkin (It’s a Wonderful Life, High Noon) in a special concert to take place in the National Concert Hall on January 12th. Throughout his career Tiomkin won four Oscars including one for ‘The High and The Mighty’, ‘The Old Man and The Sea’ and two for ‘High Noon’. The concert will be conducted by Richard Kaufman and include music from movies like ‘ High Noon’, ‘The Guns of Navarone’, ‘The Alamo’, ‘The High and the Mighty’, ‘Rawhide’ and ‘It's a Wonderful Life’ amongst others. The concert takes place at 8pm and ticket range from €11- €38.
