Dawn Morrissey, Co-Director, Irish Film Festival Boston has spoken about the opening film: "Parked’ is a piece that shows the intricacies of human connection. It is raw yet filled with warmth. It is fragile, yet shows the power in people. We are honored to premiere this film on American soil and are anticipating a very strong reaction."

Ian will be on hand at the event to collect his award as will Risteard O' Domhnaill and Rachel Lysaght, director and producer of ‘The Pipe’ respectively. The feature doc nabbed the top prize in the category of The Best Documentary.

The festival lineup will also feature the American premieres of short films including Conor Horgan’s ‘Deep End Dance’, winner of the Stella Artois Best Short and Domhnall Gleeson’s ‘Noreen’, winner in the category of Directors Choice – Short. Domhnall will attend the screening of his short.
