The next Irish Film Board production funding meeting will be held on Friday, 28th January 2011. As such, those looking to apply for funding from the group must submit their applications by Friday, January 7th 2011.
The applications being reviewed at the upcoming meeting will be in the areas of Irish Production, Creative Co-Production, Animation, Documentary, Completion, Regional Support, Print Provision and Marketing Support. It will not affect applications for development funding.
Applicants are asked to read several documents prior to submit their ideas, these include the IFB’s Principles and Criteria page where the considerations underpinning all funding decisions are set out; the Procedures page where both the intentions and the practical details of the application and decision-making procedures are explained and the Submission Overview information which looks to provide filmmakers with useful current information about the types of funding available and the allocation of the IFB’s resources. The latter documents also advise applicants as to the rules governing the amounts of money the group can provide to any one project.
