Pulse College student, Eabha Hennessy has been announced as one of the recipients of this year’s City and Guilds Bursary. Each year, eight different countries are selected where the bursaries will be made available - with Pulse College the chosen institution for Ireland in 2010.
The bursary will mean that Eabha will have her college fees funded through the programme. The International bursaries are granted to cover the tuition and assessment fees leading to the completion of one level of a City & Guilds international qualification. This is part of City and Guilds commitment to the local communities, and enables individuals from financially underprivileged backgrounds around the world to obtain a City & Guilds qualification.
This recent funding decision has come on top of the recent Leonardo funding Pulse received, which allowed the college to provide funded work placements in some of the top UK recording studios for some of their outstanding students.
