Expert Air Awarded FACT Security Accreditation | The Irish Film & Television Network

FACT is a private limited company formed in 1983 to combat audio-visual piracy. The FACT Accreditation Scheme allows businesses who wish to provide services to the audio-visual industry to satisfy their members that they have sufficiently high levels of security in order to safeguard the intellectual property rights of FACT members. Expert Air has passed the requirements for the proscribed security levels, and is now fully accredited by FACT – this accreditation is in place for twelve months from original inspection by the FACT representative. A further inspection takes place each year to renew the accreditation, and FACT is entitled to make unannounced visits throughout the year. The security survey is based on several key points, including: physical security of the building; alarm and CCTV systems in place; digital security; audit trails; staff vetting and training; visitors’ security.
