The deadline for voting for the IFTA people’s choice category, the Pantene Best International Actress Award, is today, Friday, February 5th. Each voter will go into a draw to attend this year’s Irish Film & Television Awards.
The ‘Pantene Best International Actress Award’ is voted for by the Irish public and will be presented at this year’s Irish Film & Television Awards. All other categories for IFTA 2010 are voted on by Academy members and Jury.
Voters around the country can now choose their favourite international actress from Marion Cotillard for her role in ‘Nine’, Penélope Cruz for ‘Broken Embraces’, Anna kendirck for ‘Up in the Air’ and Meryl Streep for ‘It’s Complicated’.
Previous winners of the Pantene Best International Actress Award include Meryl Streep, Helen Mirren and Hilary Swank for their respective roles in ‘Mamma Mia!’, ‘The Queen’, and P.S. I Love You.
Simply visit www.ifta.ie/pantene to cast your vote. This year's winner will be announced at the Awards ceremony, which takes place on Saturday 20th February 2010 and will broadcast live on RTÉ 1 at 9.30pm.
