'The Moment', a 6 minute film about a dying man who defies physical limitations during his final moments on earth, has wrapped production. The film is written, directed and produced by Paddy Slattery and co-produced by Alan Farrell.
‘The Moment’ stars Eamon Rohan with other cast members including Claire McMahon, who plays a young nurse; Mairin O' Donovan, as the dying man’s wife; and Daniel J Dunne as, Paddy, the man with the yarn and the worst timing in the world. The film’s lighting gaffer was Paul Nobel and Eamon McKenna was on sound.
Shot on Location in the village of Clonbullogue, Co. Offaly, with a localised crew, the director of photography and co-producer was BAFTA winner Mark Mccauley. An old community hall in Clonbullogue was converted into a Hospital Ward for a three day shoot between the 24th and 26th of July 2009. Mccauley shot on the RED camera.
