Jordan & McCabe at Ranelagh Arts Fest | The Irish Film & Television Network

The goal of the evening’s event is to provide an insight into the collaborative process between the director and writer. Ranelagh Arts Film Festival coordinator, Gerald Meehan, tells IFTN that he is delighted the pair are taking part and thinks the evening should prove very successful. The event starts at 8pm and will take part in Sandford Park School in Ranelagh and tickets for it are priced at €15.

Other festival highlights include the screening of Robert Dornheim’s version of ‘La Bohème’ whereby a celluloid version of the 1896 opera has been created to celebrate the anniversary of Giacomo Puccini’s birth. The screening will take place on Tuesday, September 22nd at 7.30pm in the Ranelagh Art Shop.

To coincide with the Dublin Culture Night, the festival will hold an outdoor screening of ‘Nosferatu- A Symphony of Horrors’ on Friday 25 September. Gerald Meehan says this screening aims to give audiences an “old world” cinema experience. This will be aided by 3pekamo, the live seven-piece collective who will accompany the movie as it is screened.
