Heaney Scores Swedish-Irish co-production 'Prinsessa'

Tweet Composer Louise Heaney has written and recorded the original score to new Swedish – Irish co produced feature film 'Prinsessa'. Co produced by Morgan Bushe of Fastnet Films and Sandra Harms of Breidablick Films, 'Prinsessa' is a heart-warming drama-comedy about overweight 18 year old Maja, whose size makes it difficult for her to be socially accepted and to make her dreams come true. This is the second feature from writer-director Teresa Fabik and is scheduled for its premiere screening in Stockholm in September. Prior to ‘Prinsessa’, Louise Heaney scored the Filmbase short 'Tufty', written and directed by Jason and Brendan Butler. The full orchestral score was recorded with the RTE Concert Orchestra as part of the IMRO Film Scoring Workshop and was recorded and mixed by Brian Masterson.
