Shooting Begins On ‘The Fading Light’

Principal photography has begun on the low budget feature film, ‘The Fading Light’, directed by Ivan Kavanagh (Tin Can Man) and produced by AnneMarie Naughton of Park Films.

‘The Fading Light’ centres on a dying woman who when is visited by her two daughters, long repressed family secrets, that have devastated their lives, rise to the surface.

Ivan's previous film, ‘Our Wonderful Home’ is currently showing in the Dublin Film Festival. DOP for the shoot is Colin Downey who previously has worked with Kavanagh on ‘Our Wonderful Home’ and is shooting on the RED camera.

The cast includes Emma Eliza Regan (Our Wonderful Home) and Bibbi Larsson (Tin Can Man and is funded through the Irish Film Board. Filming will take place for three weeks in various locations around Dublin.
