The National Film School, in association with IADT Dun Laoghaire, will present a Graduate Films Showcase at 8pm, on Monday 18th February at The Sugar Club, Leeson Street.
The showcase will feature the work of the Film School’s 2007 graduates, with a varied programme of drama, comedy, documentaries, commercials and music videos, displaying the talents of this new crop of Irish filmmakers.
National Film School student films have achieved great success over the years, screening at over 75 different international festivals.
Graduates and former students include Oscar-nominated director Kirsten Sheridan (Disco Pigs), BAFTA nominated director Billy O'Brien (Isolation); IFTA winning directors Aisling Walsh (Song for a Raggy Boy) and Ciaran Donnelly (The Tudors); multi-award winning director Ken Wardrop (Undressing My Mother) and cinematographer James Mather (Adam & Paul).
The National Film School Graduate Films Showcase kicks off at 8pm, Monday 18th February at The Sugar Club, 8 Leeson Street, Dublin 2.
Doors open 7.30 pm. Admission is free.
