Treasure Films's Paddy Breathnach and Rob Walpole announced new projects are new company personnel at Cannes.
Writer-director Conor McPhearson and former ICM agent Justin Moore-Lewy have joined the expanding company, which has announced several new projects in development, at Cannes this week.
One project is biopic of the Russian gynmnast Olga Korbut, to be written and directed by Kirsten Sheridan, who had recent success as the director of the Ed Guiney produced 'Disco Pigs'.
According to the Irish Times, Paddy Breathnach also has two projects in development, " 'The Sunshine of My Life', a true story based on the friendship between Muhammad Ali and Paddy Monahan, the British bare-knuckle fighter; and 'McIntyre' a police thriller written by McPhearson and set in the American south."
Treasure has just finished producing 'Ape' written by Rory Bresnihan (Guy's Dog), and is currently developing a TV series with Roddy Doyle.
