23rd-25th February 2015	After Effects 101 – Intro to After Effects CC - Filmbase Go » n this Adobe Authorised Training, students will learn the key techniques for working in After Effects and how to work efficiently and deliver in the widest possible range of media types. In addition to learning the key elements of the After Effects interface, topics that will be covered include animating text, working with shape layers and masks, the puppet tool, color correction, 3D objects, advanced editing techniques as well as rendering and output. €510 Members / €550 Non-Members

25th February - 25th April	Beginners Screenwriting with Stephen Walsh - Filmbase Go » Eight evenings devoted to exploring the ins and outs of scriptwriting, geared towards those with little or no previous experience in the field. Priority is placed on putting a lot of the scary myths of screenwriting to rest and creating a context in which the participants can develop their own project over the duration of the course. People should come along armed with a story idea they’d like to pursue, whether it’s at the “two lines on a scrap of paper” stage or even if they’ve already had a crack at a script.

25th February - 1st April	Directing for the Screen - Filmbase Go » This course is a primer in directing. An introduction to all the main aspects of directing is combined with practical exercises in shooting to give an overview and experience of the basics – the practical knowledge you need in order to direct films. You will be guided through the process of preparation, taking in all the major departments that come together to make a film possible. In addition to practical exercises, all participants will shoot and crew short scenes. Cost: €275 Members / €300 Non-Members
