Thaddeus O'Sullivan worked as a cinematographer until 1990. His directorial career began earlier, in 1987 with the film The Woman who Married Clark Gable. Three years later he made December Bride and his career was set. December Bride won a total of twenty awards world wide including the Special Jury prize of the European Film Academy. His most recent feature release is The Heart of Me. He is currently finishing INTO THE STORM, a film for HBO in which Brendan Gleeson stars as Winston Churchill
