The 'Applied Art of Acting' - designed by actor/writer/tutor David Scott - offers a comprehensive acting technique based upon the systems masterminded by Stanislavski, Meisner and Adler, along with the newest tools and systems practiced internationally.
The practical techniques cover both theatrical and screen actor training with physical, vocal and spatial awareness training being important elements.
Mr Scott told IFTN: "The Applied Art of Acting is a three-month, full time training facility. It is highly intensive and no time is wasted. The training is diagnostic and all students receive personalised attention in a small group of 16 students maximum."
Participants' work is filmed for show-reel purposes, and professional head-shots and a public showcase are all included in the course.

As part of the entry requirements, applicants must undergo an audition which requires a performance of one monologue followed by an informal interview. "Professional actors looking to train effectively over a shorter and more cost-effective course are the most suited to this program. The course also suits passionate amateurs whose work is of a very high standard. Total commitment and drive is a must," Mr Scott added.
Now in its sixth year, the Applied Art of Acting has already seen its first waves of past pupils go on to work as professionals in both theatre and film.
