‘Patrick’s Day’ Picks up Two Awards at Michigan; Irish Rights Acquired by Wildcard |
03 Oct 2014 | Terry McMahon’s film ‘Patrick’s Day’ has won two jury awards at the Hell’s Half Mile Film and Music Festival in Michigan. The film received prizes in the categories of Best Actor, which was awarded to Moe Dunford, as well as Best Screenplay which went to McMahon, who both wrote and directed the film. |

Dark Sky Acquires ‘Let Us Prey’ |
26 Sep 2014 | MPI Media Group’s Dark Sky Films banner has acquired the U.S. rights to ‘Let Us Prey’, an Irish horror feature from Brian O’Malley. The film has already been screened at, among others, the Edinburgh Film Festival, the Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival, at which it won Best European Fantastic Film, and the18th Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival, where it received its Asian premiere. It sold-out its North American premiere at Montreal’s Fantasia Film Festival at which it received positive reviews. |

An Bronntanas Begins Theatrical Run in Clifden |

‘Patrick’s Day’ Wins Finders Series Award |
26 Aug 2014 | Terry McMahon’s film ‘Patrick’s Day’ has won the coveted Screen Directors Guild ‘Finders Series’ Award. The award – presented to only one Irish film a year – will see the Director’s Guild of America host a screening of ‘Patrick’s Day’ for an audience of industry insiders at the legendary Directors’ Guild of America (DGA) Theatre on Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles on October 10th. It will be screened to key distributors and film industry representatives in an effort to gain a US distribution deal. |
