Brian O’Malley’s horror title predominantly filmed in Loftus Hall, Co Wexford is screening in Cannes, with deals closed in multiple territories.
Rights have sold to Best Film in Poland, Eagle Film in the Middle East, Sky Media in Mexico, and BF Distribution in Chile, Peru, Bolivia and Ecuador, MovieCloud in Taiwan, Suraya in Malaysia, CGV in Indonesia, Skyline in Vietnam and Unicon in South Korea.
Ruth Treacy and Julianne Forde of Tailored films produced the title, with funding from the Irish Film Board. O’Malley directed a script from David Turpin.
It follows anglo Irish twins living in their crumbling, haunted mansion on the edge of town. When a man enters the house to set his beloved free, evil forces are unleashed.
Moe Dunford (Vikings), Charlotte Vega (Another Me) and Bill Milner (Iboy) lead the cast, which also features Deirdre O’Kane (Nobel), Eugene Simon (Game of Thrones) and Roisin Murphy (What Richard Did).
