Experienced Production Assistant. I have had many media roles on British national shows such as working as a researcher & facilities runner in ITV’S Granada Studios on Coronation Street, Countdown, Jeremy Kyle, University Challenge and more. I also worked as a researcher on other diverse media productions from sports documentaries like Joe Calzaghe (Universal) and community type media productions such as Toxteth TV.
I also won the Phil Markey Award whilst at University for a short documentary I Directed on a local drugs rehabilitation centre in Liverpool, this documentary was used in the fight to keep the facility open, when economic downturn meant funding was being retracted. I have worked in this industry since I was eighteen but also have solid business experience working in accounts/finance for SME’s and enjoy being part of helping grow companies.
I have gained substantial experience working in a number of key media roles which drew upon both my business knowledge and media aspirations. From my experience I have worked with a wide variety of projects and would relish the chance to bring/use that experience in Galway.
Other relevant experiences consist of managing Liverpool’s famous indie music venue during Liverpool Capital of Culture, here I would host a number music events, which consequently led me onto to filming local bands music videos, reviewing national/international breakthrough artists, networking with journalists on behalf of a local PR/Management company.
Now based in Ireland my recent credit was Season 3 of RTE's Hardy Bucks Series as a Production Assistant. |
