EVENTS | IFTA hosts 'Borgias' Preview with Neil Jordan Q&A

As part of a new series of screenings entitled First Tuesdays, the Irish Film and Television Academy (IFTA) will host a series of preview screenings in Dublin's IFI on the first Tuesday of every month. Tuesday, May 3rd will see a special preview of the first two episodes of Neil Jordan's new historical drama, 'The Borgias'. The screening of the series, illustrating the lives of the notorious 15th century Borgias dynasty, will be followed by a Q&A with creator/director Neil Jordan and producer James Flynn. more |

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) yesterday, April 27th published the revised General and Children's Commercial Communications Codes previously announced in March. The revised code details will come in to effect from Monday, May 2nd and will see paid product placement permitted on Irish television. more |
