| CINEMAS | Light House Cinema Taking "Action" Against Closure | |
Dublin's Light House Cinema Board Members are to meet this evening to discuss the upcoming High Court hearing of a petition to wind up the Smithfield based cinema. Disagreements regarding a rent increase lead to the issuing of a wind-up petition from John Flynn, the cinema's landlord but Light House cinema co-founder, Maretta Dillon tells IFTN the board members are hoping to negotiate the situation.

| PRODUCTION | Second Series of 'Love/Hate' Currently Shooting | |
Production is currently underway on the set of the second series of 'Love/Hate'. The first block of shooting, which is being directed by David Caffrey commenced two weeks ago in and around Dublin city and will continue for another two weeks. The second instalment of the series sees the return of cast members Robert Sheehan (Killing Bono); Aidan Gillen (Wake Wood); Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (Becoming Jane); Ruth Bradley (Grabbers); Ruth Negga (The Nativity).

| ITV Studios Global Entertainment, ITV Studios, Lookout Point, Global TV and ABC Television are currently in pre-production with 'Titanic', a new co-production which sees Samson Films' David Collins (The Moth Diaries) on board as one of the drama's co-producers. TV3 have already signed on as the Irish broadcaster for the grand scale drama, written by Julian Fellowes (Downton Abbey) which is to start shooting in Hungary later this spring.more | |

| It has been announced that RTÉ is to reduce its workforce by between 50 and 60 people as a result of the broadcaster's adverse financial situation.
