Although the park itself is only a small strip of green by the River, it offers some nice views of the old areas of Tivoli across the water for walking scenes. However, the real interest is in the surrounding area. 32 Hectares in all, it comprises the main GAA Sports Stadium, Pairc Ui Chaoimh (pronounced Park ee Qweeve), a sizeable Pond (the Atlantic Pond) and is part of the much bigger Docklands, which is due for complete regeneration and will create a much bigger City Park. You can also get good long shots of the Docks 7 Container Terminal from here.
