Using the audience as a cast member, the character Hack introduces the newest addition to his staff to the inside track on how a newspaper really works. Stating, ‘People say every good story has a moral, I say every good story is immoral.’ Told in monologue form, the film is a comment on the fall in standards of the popular press. Although the script can be cynical and sometimes sarcastic, the message and intent of this dark comedy is sincere.
