The submission deadline is midnight Tuesday, July 11th, 2023.
Irish writers living on the island of Ireland, or Irish writers living abroad who’ve had a script produced and screened, staged or broadcast in Ireland during 2022 are eligible to submit to the 16th Writers’ Guild of Ireland Zebbie awards!

The seven script categories are:
- Best Radio Drama Script
- Best Animation Script
- Best Theatre Script
- Best Short Film Script
- Best Feature Film Script
- Best TV Drama Script
- Best Continuing Drama Script
A shortlist of three scripts in each category will be announced this September, and WGI members will have the opportunity to read them, and vote for the winning scripts in each category.
The Zebbies Awards Event will take place on Tuesday 17th October ‘23 in The Sugar Club, Dublin 2.
