‘Simpsons’ Irish Episode Airing 17 March
13 Mar 2009 | To mark St Patrick‘s Day, an Irish episode of 'The Simpsons', entitled - 'In the Name of the Grandfather', will receive its worldwide premiere on Sky1 and Sky1 HD on March 17th 7.30pm. This episode will be the first ever in 'The Simpsons' 20 year history to receive its first broadcast outside the US.

Flickerpix Does Comic Relief 2009
11 Mar 2009 | NI Animation studio Flickerpix is behind a short animated appeal film to air as part of Comic Relief 2009 on Friday 13th March on BBC 1 at 9pm. The short animation focuses on the killer disease of malaria and is devised from a script by writer and director Richard Curtis whose credits include ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral,’ and ‘Love Actually’.
