Irish Producer Juliette Bonass has been chosen as one of 20 film producers for the highly competitive European Film Promotion’s (EFP) Producers on the Move programme at the Cannes Film Festival next month.
In addition to short films including ‘Noreen’ and ‘What Will Survive of Us’, Juliette has recently produced ‘Glassland’ which was released to critical acclaim on April 17th, and ‘Get Up & Go’ which will be released on May 1st. Juliette is also producing with Ed Guiney of Element Pictures the upcoming feature ‘A Date for Mad Mary’.
Now in its 16th year, the four-day Producers on the Move programme will run from May 15 – 18 during the festival and will include working sessions, meetings and networking opportunities allowing participants to exchange knowledge and discuss possible future projects. As well as being a major profile boost for the producers, each year, the programme results in several international co-productions.
